June, 7th, 2015 marked Southeast University’s 113th anniversary celebration. Dance Troupe together with Dance Club in SEU used aesthetic performance to memorialize youth and present a gift to Alma Mater. Secretary of the Party Committee Liu Bo in SEU, vice president Wang Baoping in SEU, head of Health&Hygiene&Art Department Wang Honglei in Jiangsu Provincial Office of Education and thousands of teachers and students watched the show.
The theme of the performance is “Youth”. It started with the dance “Youth&Spring” and ended with “Goodbye, Youth”, which echoed each other. Dance Troupe and Dance Club belong to SEU Student Art Group, they all together performed over 10 dances. Through the combination of classical and modern dance, folk dance and hip-hop, they fully expressed the connotation and glamour of dance, mostly importantly, they conveyed true feelings to their Alma Mater, to teachers and schoolmates.
