On the afternoon of April 11, the U.S. professional diplomat and Consulate General of the United States of American, Shanghai, China, Robert Griffiths gave a lecture titled “Sino-US Cooperation” at Jiulonghu Campus upon invitation.
Mr Griffiths, in his whole speech delivered in standard and fluent Chinese, talked about his own interesting experiences of learning Chinese and Chinese culture, then showed the current status of wide and deep Sino-US cooperation in areas such as economy, education, science and technology, and then he looked forward to the bright future of the two countries. Mr Griffiths believes that communication between the US and China’s residents is the key to a sound Sino-US relation.
