School leaders greeted the 2013 New Year in each campus together with the teachers and students

On the evening of December 31, 2012, at the time of bidding farewell to the past year and welcoming the new year, the school leaders went separately to each campus and celebrated the 2013 New Year with the teachers and students.

At Jiulonghu campus, after dining at the staff restaurant with the comrades of the student line and visiting the comrades on duty in the chief duty room, Ms. Guo Guangyin--Party Secretary of our school, Ms. Liu Bo--Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice president of our school, Mr. Zheng Jiamao--Vice President and other school leaders came to the large garden party celebrating the 2013 New Year, watched with great interest the exhibition of student organizations and even participated in the fun games at the students’ invitation.

At Sipailou campus, President Yi Hong, Vice President Wang Baoping and other school leaders came to the “New Year get-together party” scene at Qunxian Building. President Yi Hong gave a gracious speech and then invited all the teachers and students present to make a toast to a better future of SEU. While Vice President Wang Baoping found delight in dancing with the students, President Yi Hong did the lucky draw of the big prize set for the students attending the new year’s gala ball, pushing the party atmosphere to a climax.

At Dingjiaqiao campus, Vice President Pu Yuepu and Shen Jiong and other school leaders came to the new year’s carnival party held at the student activity centre. Vice President Pu Yuepu expressed his new year greetings to all the teachers and students there on behalf of SEU and then encouraged the students to continue their efforts and the brilliant achievements made in 2012.

In addition, at the "Southeast University 2013 cross-year concert", Ms. Liu Bo--Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice president of our school bid farewell to the past year with the on-site 2000-plus students. Right before 0 o'clock, all the teachers and students present began the exciting cross-year countdown and greeted the 2013 New Year after the last ten seconds of the joint countdown.
